Al Kovy is a veteran of the local radio scene.  He spent 17 years at WMBT Shenandoah working various shifts.  He hosted the morning show "Coffee With Kovy" from 1980-1990.  He moved to WPAM Pottsville from 1991-1994.

After a few years in the window manufacturing business, he got bit by the radio bug again.  He joined the WPPA staff in June, 2001.

Al lives in Shenandoah, and has a son and a daughter.
