Mike Kimmel is our News Director for T-102 and WPPA.  He joined our stations in August 2002, and is a graduate of Blue Mountain High School.

Before landing a job in the news department, Mike's previous careers include Jesuit priest, neurosurgeon, pirate, and an extensive background in children's theater puppetry. In his free time, he takes Sally Struthers home courses on gun repair and is practicing his square dancing techniques to make it to regionals this year (fingers crossed).

Mike also worked on a small independent film called "Lord of the Rings."  He was the inspiration for the character "Frodo."
