Charges have been filed in connection with several area bank robberies in Northumberland and surrounding counties.
Police say Richard Snyder of Shamokin took part in heists at banks in Kulpmont, Treverton, and Ralpho Township.
He's accused of robbery, conspiracy, and other crimes. Authorities say Snyder acted as a getaway driver for a yet to be named accomplice.
Snyder was arraigned and locked up pending a preliminary hearing.
