Police announced that the victim of an assault at an ATV park, in Hegins Township, has died.
According to Skook News, State Police at Schuylkill Haven said a 53 year old woman from Ephrata was assaulted while staying at the Rausch Creek Trailer Riders Park.
The woman was reportedly strangled and stabbed several times.
The victim died from her injuries Wednesday afternoon and the incident is now being investigated as a homicide.
Police have not yet released the identity of the suspect, the victim, or if anyone is in custody.
