State Police announced Thursday, that troopers statewide confiscated $14,747,304 in heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamines, and other prohibited drugs in the fourth quarter of 2017.
From October 1 through December 31, state police seized more than 18 pounds of heroin and over 111 pounds of fentanyl.
The drugs have a combined street value of $2,269,920.
Troopers also removed nearly 181 pounds of cocaine and 34 pounds of methamphetamines, valued at nearly $4.7, million from the highways and communities of Pennsylvania during the same period.
In 2017, the Pennsylvania State Police seized a total of over $41 million in prohibited drugs, including 227 pounds of heroin and fentanyl.
