An Ashland man was jailed Tuesday on charges that he pointed a weapon at his wife and fired it last month.
43 year old Jason E. Stahr was arrested by state police Trooper Joseph Hall, of the Frackville station, after the incident at his 920 Market St. home on Dec. 29, 2016.
He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Christina E. Hale, Frackville, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post $50,000 straight cash bail.
Stahr will now have to appear at a preliminary hearing before Hale in her Frackville courtroom.
