Hazleton Police are investigating a shooting and stabbing that happened Wednesday, in the city.
Police were called to Pine Street Park around 3:30 pm and found two people injured. One with a cut on the hand, the other with gunshot graze to the foot. Both were taken to the hospital.
The injuries are not life threatening according to police.
As officers arrived on the scene two individuals took off. Officers pursed the duo ending up at a Green Street house.
They took two male juveniles and three females into custody.
The investigation is continuing.
