A Bowmanstown man, who is already sentenced to state prison because of sex-related crimes in Carbon County, faces more charges after admitting Wednesday in Schuylkill County Court that he sexually assaulted a student at a Tamaqua private school.
According to the Republican Herald, 27 year old Jordan M. Beggan pleaded guilty on Wednesday to sexual contact with a student and selling or furnishing liquor to minors.
The child predator section of the state attorney general’s charged Beggan, an instructional assistant at Behavioral Health Associates, with having the sexual contact with the male teenage student, whom he had known before working at the school, in the spring of 2016 in the Tamaqua area.
Judge James P. Goodman scheduled a hearing for April 16, when he will both sentence the defendant and determine whether he is a sexually violent predator.
