A former Pine Grove Area School District third-grade teacher admitted Wednesday in Schuylkill County Court that he assaulted a woman in a September 2015 altercation, although he will not have to spend time in prison for it.
State police at Schuylkill Haven alleged 36 year old Joshua A. Hewes, of Pine Grove, assaulted Katherine H. Baker, also of Pine Grove, in the early evening hours of Sept. 6, 2015, at the 43 Broad St. residence of Terry Levan in Pine Grove Township.
President Judge William E. Baldwin placed Hewes on probation.
