An apartment in Friedensburg was damaged by fire Tuesday evening.
Fire crews were called to the property, located behind C&C Candies and Country Store, on Long Run Road, just before 7 p.m. The building behind the storefronts is a storage space on the first floor with a few apartments upstairs.
Schuylkill Haven Assistant Fire Chief Jim Reed said the fire appeared to be electrical and started near the ceiling of the first floor before traveling through the wall.
No injuries were reported. The apartment sustained smoke damage.
