Six people were charged this week as part of a drug investigation in Western Schuylkill County.
According to Hegins Township Police, officers from Hegins Township, Tower City and the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force arrested defendants resulting from drug investigations.
Eight defendants were on the list to be arrested. Three who were already incarcerated for separate offenses, include 39 year old J. Michael Cole Jr., of Lebanon, 22 year old Donathan Bixler, of Tower City and 34 year old Joshua Kimmel, of Reading.
Three others taken into custody were 25 year old Brittany Gettle, of Tremont, 37 year old Kory Aungst, of Pine Grove and 25 year old Jamie Mangum, of Lykens.
Authorities say the drug investigation is still ongoing.
