2017 is off to a great start for the holder of a winning Cash 5 ticket was recently sold in Schuylkill County. 

Lottery officials say the winning ticket worth $225,000 was sold Thursday, at Boyer’s Food Market, 150 E. Centre St., in Ashland and matched all five balls drawn, 9-16-28-34-35 for Thursday’s drawing. 

It is not yet known who is holding the winning ticket. 

Lottery claims can be turned in from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to any participating area offices or at lottery headquarters, in Middletown. 

The winner has one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
