A Sheppton man was arrested Monday for charges of burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 According to Skook News, East Union Township police were called for a burglary at the American Legion Post 616, in Sheppton. 

A surveillance camera caught the burglary on video showing that around 9:30am, a male, later identified as 53 yer old Thomas Paris, of Sheppton, entered the building by removing an exhaust fan and stole cash from the bar area. 

Paris was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge David Rossi, Tremont and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $40,000 Straight Cash Bail.
