One person was injured Wednesday in a crash on Interstate 81, in Butler Township.
According to Skook News, State Police at Frackville said 54 year old Gilbert Hunt, of NY, was operating a Tractor Trailer, travelling north on Interstate 81 near Milemarker 117, around 7:20pm.
Hunt was in the left lane and attempted to merge to the right when he struck a vehicle being driven by 23 year old Brianna Wengrenovich, of Shamokin.
Police say Wengrenovich was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Hunt will be cited for the incident.
