A Berks County man died over the weekend after a crash in West Brunswick Township.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said the crash occurred at Route 61 and Municipal Road about 2:15 p.m. when a 49-year-old Schuylkill Haven man was driving north in the right lane of Route 61 when he drove through a red light and struck the driver’s side of a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Rodney Brown, of Blandon.
Troopers said the Schuylkill Haven man and a passenger in the Brown’s car — a 22-year-old Auburn woman — refused medical treatment and charges are pending against the Schuylkill Haven man.
Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
