Shenandoah fire guts home...
One home was destroyed and a second damaged in Shenandoah, Tuesday night.
According to the Republican Herald, firefighters were called to 238 S. Jardin St. just after 6:30 p.m. for the report of a house fire and found flames shooting from the side and rear of the building.
Fire officials immediately called for a second alarm, bringing crews from Mahanoy City, Frackville, Englewood, West Mahanoy Township and Union Township to the scene.
The fire gutted the home at 238 and spread to an adjoining home at 236 S. Jardin St.
Fire officials were still at the scene late Tuesday night and had no information available as to what started the blaze.
