30 year old Joseph J. Brennan II, of Ashland, pleaded no contest to aggravated assault and involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of a toddler, in 2014.
State police at Frackville alleged Brennan caused the death of 13-month-old Alivia Delrio on Dec. 27, 2014, at a residence at 9 W. Centre St. in Ashland.
Schuylkill County Judge James P. Goodman accepted the plea and sentenced Brennan to serve five to 10 years in a state correctional institution.
