Tamaqua police are investigating a shooting that occurred about 2 a.m. Tuesday near Fegley’s Mini Mart in the borough.
According to the Republican Herald, a spokesperson for the department would only say that an investigation is underway and witnesses were being interviewed.
The male victim was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital-Miners Campus, Coaldale, and then flown to St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill, for additional treatment.
No other information was provided as police continue to investigate.
