A Mahanoy City man has been jailed after being charged by police with raping a child in the borough this month.
24 year old Troy J. Dorneman, is being charged with felony rape of a child, among other counts in connection with the Oct. 8 incident at a home on East Pine Street, after police were called in reference to ongoing sexual assault incidents involving a 12-year-old girl.
Dorneman was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge James K. Reiley, Pottsville, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $50,000 straight cash bail.
