A man was shot by police, during an incident, in Porter Township, Thursday afternoon.
Skook News reports that the unidentified man exited a home on Yohe Street, allegedly pointing a weapon at officers.
The incident unfolded when State Police from Schuylkill Haven responded to a domestic altercation at the residence and upon arrival, saw a female exiting the residence bleeding from her head.
The male subject, only described as a 42 year old white male, exited the residence with a compound bow and arrow and began raising the weapon at police, who fired at the man, striking him in the leg.
The man was transported to Hershey Medical Center. Multiple charges, which include attempted homicide, are pending.
