The Blue Mountain Middle School was evacuated Monday morning after a threatening message was found on a bathroom wall.
According to the Republican Herald, the threat is the second one in less than a week. Police were notified, Monday, at 8:35 a.m. after a threatening message was discovered on a girls’ bathroom wall.
The school was evacuated about 9 a.m. and a state police bomb detection unit was contacted.
The school and compound were searched, and determined no explosive devices existed, allowing the students to re-enter the school and resume classes.
Orwigsburg Police said that as a result of the investigation into Monday’s threat, as well as a threat discovered on Oct. 19, charges are pending against two juveniles with Schuylkill County juvenile authorities.
