Fairlane Mall sold...

The deed was filed in Schuylkill County, for the sale of the Fairlane Village mall.

Two Delaware companies, Pottsville Mall LLC and Pottsville Commons LLC spent $12,875,000 to purchase the mall, which is located along the west side of Route 61 approximately one mile north of Pottsville in East Norwegian and Norwegian townships.

A.M. Fairlane Village LLC, New York City, sold the mall, which it had bought in 2004.

The mall, which opened in 1974, has Boscov’s and Kohl’s department stores and Michaels craft supply store as its main tenants. It has seen several other stores close recently, including CVS Pharmacy and the Hallmark Heritage Shop.

The deed from A.M. Fairlane Village to Pottsville Mall and Pottsville Commons is dated Sept. 15, but was not recorded until Monday.
