Fire damaged two homes in Shenandoah, Monday morning.
According to the Republican Herald, firefighters were called around 10 a.m. to 202 N. Catherine St. for the report of a house fire.
The fire was determined to have started on the second floor of that home in a bathroom and was determined to be accidental.
The home was occupied by the Lopez family.
An adjoining home at 204 N. Catherine St., sustained minor smoke damage while a home at 200 N. Catherine St. was not damaged.
The American Red Cross assisted with the placement of the Lopez family, who are temporarily homeless.
