The Blue Mountain School District has announced that they have identified the students responsible for threats at the district.
According to an announcement from the district the students responsible for the threat that occurred Monday, as well as the threat in mid-September, have been identified.
The Board of School Directors and Administration said students making these threats will face expulsion from school and may face felony charges, fines and fees potentially exceeding $20,000.
The announcement comes after a bomb threat was found in the girl’s bathroom at the high school Monday morning. Students were evacuated and school officials coordinated a search with state police.
Students returned to class after officials and police completed a sweep of the school and deemed it all clear.
