The state Department of Transportation announced Tuesday a major reconstruction project of Route 61, in Schuylkill County.
According to the Republican Herald, the project will include road improvements between Frackville and Saint Clair and is estimated at a construction cost of $65 million.
Officials say work will begin in 2021 and will take five years to complete.
It will include the realignment of three sharp curves to improve driving safety and reduce crashes.
