A teen that was struck by a vehicle Wednesday afternoon in Shenandoah has died.
Just after 5:00pm Wednesday, emergency crews were called to a motor vehicle accident located North Gilbert and West Centre Streets that involved a pedestrian on a bicycle.
According to police, the accident occurred when 13 year old Scott Ort, rode his bicycle down a hill into the path of 40 year old Kara Moser, of Lansford.
Ort was taken to the hospital and later flown to Lehigh Valley-Cedar Crest where he died overnight. Ort was reported to have suffered severe head trauma.
Authorities say no charges are pending against Moser.
