A man was transported to the hospital after being struck by a pickup truck Sunday night along Route 443 in Mahoning Township.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 10 p.m. as the victim and his wife were walking west along the west berm.
The man reportedly stepped out into traffic and was struck by the truck traveling in the westbound lane.
The unidentified victim was transported to an area trauma center. There is no word yet on his condition.
