The parents of an infant have been charged after their baby tested positive for methamphetamine.
According to Skook News State Police at Frackville said their unit was alerted to the incident by Schuylkill County Children & Youth Services after a 5 month old baby tested positive for methamphetamine.
The parents, 34 year old Christina Brennan and 49 year old Robert Rountree, both of New Philadelphia were charged in the incident.
Rountree was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Reiley and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $50,000 straight cash bail.
Brennan is currently locked up in Centre County Prison on unrelated charges.
She will be arraigned for this incident at a later date.
