The Moen manufacturing plant that celebrated its 50th anniversary earlier this year has announced it will be closing.
According to the Repubican Herald, The plant at 12 Roberts Road, in Pine Grove, is owned by Moen and is the only Moen plant in the United States that makes stainless-steel sinks.
The transition will impact approximately 38 hourly and 7 salaried employees at the Pine Grove facility.
A manager with the company said through this transition, the company is committed to helping all of its displaced workers.
The closure is not expected to occur until May 2019; however, Moen wanted to provide as much advanced notice as possible to employees.
