State police at Schuylkill Haven identified the three people injured in the accident that happened Sunday on Tremont St., Reilly Township.
According to police, 37 year old William James Boyd, of Donaldson, was driving north on Route 209 when he lost control of his vehicle and swerved into the southbound lane before counter steering and crossing back over into the northbound lane and down an embankment, striking a tree.
Police said 20 year old Christine Kathleen Lon, of Tremont, and a juvenile were passengers in the vehicle. All were taken to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, for treatment.
