n just a matter of hours, former Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane is expected to be behind bars. Attorney William J. Brennan filed a motion Wednesday to try and temporarily keep Kane from reporting to prison this morning, citing the fact that she is a single mother and the primary parents of two teenage boys who are both in high school.
Just about an hour after Kane's request was filed it was denied by the judge without a hearing or conference.
She must report to the Montgomery County prison by 9:00 AM today to begin serving a 10-23 month prison sentence.
