Drug/Weapon Charges...




Ashland police arrested a borough man after an incident at South 17th and Walnut streets about 12:40 a.m. Tuesday. 

According to the Republican Herald, Patrolman Earl Johnson charged 33 year old Joshua A. Phillips, with multiple felony and misdemeanor counts for weapons violations after witnessing Phillips drive through a stop sign at a high rate of speed at South 17th and Walnut streets.

 During the traffic stop, weapons, drugs and drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicle.

 It was also discovered that Phillips was driving the vehicle while his operating privileges are suspended or revoked. 

Phillips was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Anthony J. Kilker, Shenandoah, and committed to Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail.
