49-year-old Dorothy G. Gordon, of Auburn, suffered minor injuries in a crash that closed the Gordon Nagle Trail, for several hours, Tuesday.
State police said the incident occurred just before noon as Gordon was traveling north on the Gordon Nagle Trail between Cressona Road and Glenworth Road.
According to troopers, Gordon lost control on a right curve, traveled off the west side of the road, striking a metal guide rail. The vehicle then flipped over the rail and hitting trees while traveling down a steep embankment.
Authorities said her injuries appear minor; however there was no information available on her condition.
Trooper Justin Humanick of the state police at Schuylkill Haven said rain could have contributed in the crash.
Gordon will be cited for not driving a vehicle at a safe speed.
