More than 200 people participated in the Schuylkill Keep It Pretty Fall Cleanup last week.
The cleanup was held Oct. 18 through 20 in different areas of the county. In all, 248 volunteers helped to clean up the Gordon Nagle Trail, Route 61 and Centre Street, Pottsville, Route 61 and Adamsdale Road and Route 209 from 14th Street to Sheetz in the city’s Westwood section.
The state Department of Transportation collects the trash, though no amount was available.
