After four hours of deliberation, a jury found Eleazar Yisrael, of Hazleton, guilty of first-degree murder in Luzerne County court Tuesday.
The jury believed Yisrael killed his girlfriend's estranged husband last year and dumped his body in Carbon County.
52 year old Samuel Vacante was shot and killed in his own home, in Drums.
The case started as a missing person investigation on August 31, 2015, when Vancate's estranged wife Lisa called 911 to say he was missing, along with his car.
Investigators eventually found the car near Yisrael's home on West 10th Street in Hazleton, along with Vacante's guns, knives, and watches on Yisrael.
Police found Vacante's body in the woods near Albrightsville in Carbon County.
