One person was killed in a crash that closed Route 183 in Berks County on Thursday morning.
According to state police, 24 year old Natasha Ann Vargas, of Reading, was traveling south on 183 when her vehicle crossed lanes and traveled into oncoming traffic near Bright School Road in Penn Township, south of Bernville, around 4:45 a.m.
The car went off of the road and down an embankment, hitting some trees before going airborne. Vargas was partially ejected and became trapped under the vehicle.
Police have ruled Vargas’ death an accident and said she was not wearing a seatbelt.
