Drug sweep...



Dozens of individuals were arrested Monday with an additional outstanding warrants being issued during a massive drug sweep in Northern Schuylkill County. 

The drug and warrant sweep, organized by federal, state, county and municipal law enforcement officers was focused mainly in Shenandoah, according to Shenandoah Police Chief George Carado, focusing on the heroin and meth problem in Schuylkill County. 

As of Midday Monday, at least 21 individuals were arrested. All have been arraigned by Magisterial District Judge James Kilker. For a complete list of names, log onto T102radio.com and click on news. 

An additional 15 warrants are still active for individuals who could not be located Monday. That list follows...

Those apprehended, arraigned and committed to Schuylkill County Prison unable to post 10 percent of $50,000 bail were Clifton Thompson, 41, of Lost Creek; Frederick Edwards, 33, of Shenandoah; Kurtis Sargent, 25, of Shenandoah; Kaitlyn Collins, 24, of Shenandoah; Danielle Oswald, 43, of Shenandoah; Robert Seigel Sr., 52, of Frackville; William Booth, 50, of Shenandoah; Jerald Metzger, 29, of Shenandoah; Jeremy Hess, 30, of Pottsville; Vanessa Kratohwill, 25, of Pottsville; William Hahn, 46, no address listed; Dennis Hopkins, 25, of Shenandoah; David Walter, 39, of Shenandoah; Shannon Oliver, 33, of Shenandoah; Ashley Capiga, 27, of Shenandoah; Tyler Bryan, 19, of Shenandoah; and, Bryon Becker, 37, of Shenandoah.
Those jailed in lieu of 10 percent of $25,000 bail were Amy Sartori, 31, Shenandoah; Raymond Iaconelli, 25, Shenandoah; and Ashley Duran, 19, Frackville.
In addition to those jailed, Schuylkill County District Attorney Christine Holman said that Laverne Schaeffer, 45, whose address was not listed, was arraigned and released on unsecured bail and that two others wanted are currently incarcerated — James Flowers, 50, at State Correctional Institution/Camp Hill, and Jeffrey Najunas Jr., 22, in Schuylkill County Prison.
Holman said authorities are still looking for 15 people wanted on warrants but could not be located Monday.

Perez, 31, no address listed; and Paul Petrus, no age or address listed.
