A Reading man was flown to a Lehigh County hospital after his vehicle overturned Wednesday on Route 183.
According to the Republican Herald, State police at Schuylkill Haven said the driver, 28 year old Joseph Soto fell asleep at the wheel while driving south on Route 183. As he approached the intersection near Earl Stoyer Drive in Wayne Township, he drifted off the road, hitting an embankment causing it to overturn about 10 feet from impact.
His brother, 27 year old Michael Soto was a passenger in the car and was not injured.
Police said Joseph Soto will be cited for careless driving and driving while suspended.
