A warrant has been issued for a Pottsville man who did not appear Friday for his nonjury trial in Schuylkill County Court, where he was convicted of stealing money from a woman who allowed him to live with her.
Pottsville police charged 38 year old Marc R. Freligh with opening credit card accounts in the name of Stefanie E. Wenrich, of Pottsville, without her permission, and then using them to make unauthorized purchases, beginning in September 2014 and continuing into 2015.
Judge James P. Goodman issued the warrant and said Freligh would be scheduled for sentencing at a later date.
