A traffic stop Tuesday resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine and heroin valued at more than $70,000.
According to the Republican Herald, members of the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force received information about illegal drugs being transported inside a 2014 Ford Explorer that State Police later stopped in West Brunswick Township.
Inside the vehicle, agents said, they found 1 1/2 pounds of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $68,100 along with about 10 grams of heroin with a street value of about $3,000.
As a result of the stop, agents charged 38 year old Cristian Maracine, of Wyomissing.
He will appear for court in Schuylkill County where the traffic stop was conducted.
