Arson suspected...

One person died and 11 others were displaced after flames ripped through an apartment building in West Hazleton last month and investigators have been trying to piece together what happened.

The fire tore through this apartment building on East Green Street in West Hazleton on the evening of January 12th. 11 people including three children ages 2, 5 and 6 barely escaped the flames and the identity of the person killed in the blaze has yet to be determined.

West Hazleton Police said DNA testing is being conducted, but that testing takes time.

Detectives have been looking for 30 year old Grant Yamulla; a resident of the apartment building who was last seen alive at the building the night of the fire.

As for the cause of the blaze, authorities believe the fire was set inside and have a strong suspicion it was arson.
