Motorists should be prepared for some possible traffic delays as PennDOT maintenance personnel will be out fixing potholes, sealing cracks and doing shoulder and widening work this week in the county.
Work will take place in Butler, Delano, East Norwegian, Mahanoy, New Castle, North Manheim and West Penn townships.
All of the work will start today. Work in West Penn, Mahanoy, East Norwegian, New Castle, Butler and North Manheim townships is estimated to end Friday, while the other work should be completed Thursday.
Motorists will notice lane restrictions (some with flagging) in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
