A shooting at a bar on East Fifth Street in Halzeton, remains under investigation.
Police say at least two people were shot late Tuesday inside Lucky Charms Bar around midnight Wednesday morning. The victims were taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton with serious injuries and are said to be in critical condition.
Police arrested Randy Escoto at a home on West Green Street in connection with the shooting.
Authorities say the arrest was based on witnesses in the bar, however police have also received calls and emails from others saying Escoto is not the shooter.
Escoto is currently being held on drug charges while the shooting investigation continues. The identities of the victims have not been released.
