McAdoo Police arrested 3 individuals after they stole from a church during a service Wednesday evening.
According to Skook News, police responded to St. Mary's Church, located at 210 West Blaine Street, for a reported robbery.
The Parish Priest and parishioners told police that during mass, two males and a female entered the church and stole candles and community donations.
The three were later identified as 48 year old Anthony Powell and 35 year old David Benitez, both of McAdoo and 27 year old Brandy Lorah, of Barnesville.
Powell and Lorah were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Kilker and committed to Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Benitez was taken into custody by Schuylkill Probation Officials for an outstanding warrant.
Charges against Benitez are pending for the robbery incident.
