High winds caused power outages in parts of Schuylkill County Sunday evening.
According to Skook News, PPL reported power outages as 7:15pm, in West Penn, Branch and Union Townships, along with the Ringtown area.
As of 10pm smaller outages were reported East Brunswick, Porter, Wayne and West Brunswick Townships. PPL was expecting to have power restored by 1:00am.
However nearly 1000 residents are still experiencing power loss, in Schuylkill County, and more outages are possible due to continued high winds.
Anyone experiencing power loss should call PPL Utilities.
