Police in Northumberland County are asking for the public’s help in locating a man who has gone missing.
Mount Carmel Police Chief Todd Owens said 36 year old Jeffrey Kays, of Mount Carmel, was reported missing by his family on Sunday February 05, 2017.
Kays is believed to have been driving a silver 2016 Dodge Dart.
Police pinged his cell phone Sunday night, which led them to areas in southern Northumberland and northern Schuylkill County. The areas were searched but no sign of Kays were found.
Kays was arraigned on charges Wednesday on accusations that he stole more than $100,000 from his employer, RW Light-Comm LLC, of Northumberland.
