Pottsville police are currently investigating an incident that occurred inside Martz Hall Tuesday evening.
According to Skook News, Pottsville and surrounding police agencies were dispatched to Martz Hall, to investigate a reported fight in the stands involving several spectators at the Panther Valley/Marian boys playoff basketball game.
Upon arrival, security had already separated those involved. Police remained on-scene to assist the clearing of Martz Hall after the game and to identify those involved in the physical altercation.
Pottsville Police Chief Richard Wojciechowsky stated "The investigation is continuing and appropriate charges will be filed after all available evidence is collected and reviewed."
