A garage fire in Ashland Saturday evening is under investigation.
According to Skook News, Ashland fire crews were dispatched at 8:00pm, to 228 South Hoffman Boulevard for a garage fire.
Police and first responders on scene found heavy smoke coming from the garage in the alley behind the home. The fire was found near a wood burner inside the garage and quickly extinguished.
The garage sustained minor damage.
According to Ashland Fire Chief Philip Groody, the cause of the fire was undetermined and police and fire officials are investigating an exact cause.
