Hazleton Area High School kicked off Rachel’s Challenge, Friday, by celebrating their students and school.
The event is named in honor of Rachel Scott, the first student killed in the Columbine High School. Rachel’s challenge involves five challenges, which include looking for the best in others, dreaming big, choosing positive influences, speaking with kindness and starting your own chain reaction.
Friday’s event kicked off the kindness challenge in the Hazleton School District. Students and staff are urging more schools to get involved.
