PennDOT Engineering District 5 announced that work will begin today, to repair six bridges on Interstate 81 between Exit 104 (PA 125) and Exit 112 (PA 25) in Schuylkill County.
Crews will be repairing decks, beams, wing-walls, and guiderail on the bridges.
Motorists can expect weekday lane restrictions between 6:30 AM and 4:30 PM on I-81 north between exits 104 and 112.
Updates will be provided whenever traffic restrictions change on I-81 north or south.
The project is expected to be complete in October.
